Although not endemic to Bolivia, lemon trees grow fabulously in many farming plots, gardens and street corners of Cochabamba. They are evergreen, require minimal pest-control treatments and provide a constant fruit production throughout the whole year. Undoubtedly, lemon trees became an attractive plant for both local agroecological farming and carbon sequestration!
