Cherimoyas are one of the native fruit trees in the Bolivian Andean regions. It is considered one of the most delicious fruits in the world, and is generally cultivated in subtropical climates. In the region of Cochabamba, there are five varieties of cherimoya tree, and all of them grow better in mesothermic valleys characterized by semi-arid climate.
