Português seja bem vindo!
We’re opening up to articles, tweets and posts in Portuguese 🙂
This is part of our plan to make the internet more multilingual and our contribution to the ongoing environmental battles in Brazil.
The approval of more than 200 pesticides during the last year [1], the murder of at least 8 environmental activists fighting against soy farming in 2018 [2] and the increase of the deforestation rate [3] are among the plenty battles.
So, are you ready to practice some Portuguese? Here’s a call from prof. Jackson Barbosa of the NEAST research team to speak up against pesticides (agrotoxicos). I had the pleasure to meet him two days ago in Palmas.
Battles are fought together otherwise they are lost. We’re looking for new, competent and enthusiast environmental bloggers to keep updated and fresh our Fridays’ article tradition. From now on, each contribution will be rewarded with 10€.
Want to be part of the blog crew? Send us an attractive environmental tweet of 140 characters 🙂
